
Woman Suffers Head Injury in Tenerife Rockfall
A 55-year-old woman sustained a moderate head injury after a rockfall in a hard-to-reach coastal area of Tenerife and was subsequently hospitalized.
A 55-year-old woman was injured when a rock fell in a hard-to-reach coastal area of Tenerife.
The accident happened near the natural pool of Los Abrigos, in the Granadilla de Abona municipality, according to the Canary Islands Government's emergency services (CECOES 112).
Emergency medical staff (SUC) treated the woman at the scene. Tenerife Firefighters then helped the medical team, carrying her on a stretcher to an ambulance. She was subsequently transferred to Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
The woman sustained a moderate head injury.
Local Police were also involved in the emergency operation and prepared the necessary reports.
