A female driver was hospitalized with moderate injuries following a collision between a car and a heavy goods vehicle on Tenerife’s TF-66 road in Arona on Wednesday morning.

According to the Canary Islands’ emergency services (CECOES 112), a collision between a car and a heavy goods vehicle occurred around 10:15 a.m., prompting an immediate emergency response.
The incident highlights the risks of high-traffic routes where cars and trucks share the road. A basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived on the scene to treat the female driver. She was later taken to Hospital Quirón Costa Adeje with moderate arm injuries.
The Civil Guard and local police managed the scene, with local officers directing traffic while the Civil Guard began an investigation. This inquiry is standard procedure to determine the cause of the accident and establish responsibility under current traffic regulations.
