Emergency services were alerted shortly after 9:00 a.m. Firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium worked to extinguish the blaze and clear smoke from the property, while paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated the woman at the scene. She was later transported to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias (HUC) with moderate burns.
The National and Local Police secured the area and have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire. Authorities are using the incident to urge residents to remain cautious, particularly regarding the maintenance of electrical and heating systems, which are common causes of residential fires.
