A 55-year-old woman was rescued by firefighters and transported to a hospital with moderate injuries after falling down a slope in Arona, Tenerife, on Sunday morning.
Emergency services in Arona, Tenerife, were called to action this Sunday morning after a 55-year-old woman fell down a slope on Los Rosales Street. The incident once again highlighted the challenges of performing rescues in areas with difficult, uneven terrain.
Tenerife firefighters led the operation, successfully extracting the woman from the ravine so she could receive medical care. After being stabilized by the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), she was taken to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital with moderate injuries.
