Woman Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into Lamppost in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
A woman was hospitalized with moderate injuries after firefighters extracted her from a vehicle that crashed into a lamppost in Santa Cruz de Tenerife early Saturday morning.

The accident occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Calle Alcalde Mandillo Tejera. Because the car had collided with a rigid structure, firefighters from the Tenerife Fire Consortium had to carefully extract the driver from the vehicle.
Emergency medical teams stabilized the woman at the scene before transporting her to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital. She is reported to have moderate chest and neck injuries and remains under medical care.
Local police managed traffic in the area while the scene was cleared. They have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash, which is standard procedure for such incidents.
