Woman Critical After Rescue From Tenerife Sea

A 70-year-old woman is in a critical condition after being pulled from the sea and needing resuscitation.

The incident happened at Los Cristianos beach in Tenerife. Lifeguards on the beach were the first to help, starting CPR.

Emergency medical teams then took over, continuing advanced life support until her heart started beating again. She was then taken by ambulance to the Hospital del Sur.

Local, National, and Port Police also assisted at the scene.
