The Canary Islands' 1-1-2 emergency services received a call reporting that a woman had been hit by a vehicle and needed immediate medical help. Following the alert, emergency teams were quickly dispatched.
An ambulance from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) was sent to the scene, along with local police officers. The police secured the area and helped the medical team.
SUC paramedics assessed the injured woman at the scene. She had a moderate injury to her lower leg and was treated and stabilized before being taken to the hospital.
She was then taken by ambulance to Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital, where she was admitted for further tests and medical care.
