Valeria Castro Concludes Tour with Major Performance in La Laguna
Spanish singer-songwriter Valeria Castro concludes her acclaimed El cuerpo después de todo tour with a major performance in La Laguna, solidifying her status as a leading figure in contemporary music ahead of an extensive international tour.
Valeria Castro cements her status as a leading voice in contemporary Spanish music tonight with a major performance at the Santiago Martín Pavilion in La Laguna. This concert marks the final leg of the tour for her second album, El cuerpo después de todo, a record that has firmly established her creative maturity since her 2023 debut.
Produced by Carles Campi Campón, the album has earned international acclaim, securing Castro a third consecutive Latin Grammy nomination and a National Ondas Music Award. She is also up for six MIN Awards, to be announced on March 25 in Córdoba, and recently received a Canarian Music Award for "El borde del mundo," a standout track from the film El 47.
Castro’s global reach continues to grow. Following more than 40 concerts in 2025, she is wrapping up this tour with a series of major shows. In Spain, she will perform at the Gran Canaria Arena in July and the Palau Sant Jordi in October. Her schedule also includes an ambitious Latin American tour in April—with stops in Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Mexico City, and Santiago de Chile—followed by an autumn tour of European cities including London, Dublin, Paris, and Brussels.
Her success is driven by a unique ability to connect with listeners, a talent highlighted by collaborations with artists like Alejandro Sanz, Julieta Venegas, Vetusta Morla, and Sílvia Pérez Cruz. With a summer lineup that includes prestigious festivals such as Pirineos Sur, Cap Roig, and Sonorama Ribera, Castro has moved well beyond being a "rising star" to become a pillar of the modern music scene. At just 26, she is already a defining figure in Spanish singer-songwriter music, and these final performances set the stage for the next chapter of her career.
