Valeria Castro Announces Four Major 2026 Spanish Arena Concerts
Singer-songwriter Valeria Castro announced a significant 2026 global tour, featuring four major arena concerts in Madrid, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Barcelona, alongside a Latin American leg, following her recent health break and award-winning success.
Valeria Castro, the singer-songwriter from La Palma, has announced four major concerts in 2026. These shows will take place in large sports venues in Madrid, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Barcelona. Her return to performing will actually begin sooner, on December 8th, at the Mar de Vigo Auditorium.
After taking a break from her career since October for health reasons, Valeria Castro's 2026 dates include: January 9th at the Movistar Arena in Madrid (this date was already planned), March 21st at the Santiago Martín Pavilion in La Laguna (Tenerife), July 26th at the Gran Canaria Arena in Las Palmas, and October 30th at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
Her agency released a statement calling these concerts a "milestone" in her career. They see it as a "big step" for the singer to perform on such large stages, showing how popular she has become in recent years.
Tickets for these new shows will be available starting this Thursday, December 4th. You can buy them on Valeria Castro's official website or through the websites of the venues.
This announcement comes just weeks after the 26-year-old singer won an Ondas Award. It also follows the huge success of her recent song, 'Cuídate' (from her EP 'Chiquita'), which went viral on music platforms across Spain and Latin America.
Her agency added that her "global impact has introduced her music to new audiences and solidified her position as one of the most influential voices of her generation."
All these performances are part of her tour promoting her album, 'El cuerpo después de todo' (The Body After All). Before the end of this year, she will also play in Vigo (December 8th), Mallorca (Trui Teatre, December 11th), and Burgos (Forum Evolución, December 21st).
The 2026 tour features seven dates in Spain. Besides the big concerts in Madrid, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Barcelona, Castro will perform in February at the Auditori de Girona (13th), the Teatro de la Laboral in Gijón, Asturias (15th), and the Miguel Delibes Auditorium in Valladolid (22nd).
Following her Spanish dates, she will head to Latin America for seven confirmed concerts in April: April 16th in Mexico City (Teatro Esperanza Iris), April 19th in Lima (Teatro Centro Español), April 21st in Bogotá (Teatro Libre), April 23rd in Santiago de Chile (Teatro Camilo Henríquez), April 25th in Buenos Aires (Teatro Margarita Xirgu), April 28th in Montevideo (Sala Hugo Balzo), and April 30th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Galpão Ladeira das Artes).
