The University of La Laguna re-hung a poster at its Guajara lecture hall, listing women murdered by partners in Spain in 2025, replacing one vandalized last week and adding new victims, while reaffirming its ongoing fight against sexist violence.

The University of La Laguna (ULL) on Tuesday put back up a poster at its Guajara lecture hall. The poster, which lists the names of over 30 women murdered by their partners and ex-partners in Spain in 2025, had been vandalized last week.

In a message shared on social media, the university stressed its ongoing "fight" against "unrelenting" sexist violence.

The new poster now includes the names of the latest victims who were not on the one vandalized last Wednesday.

Following the vandalism, the ULL had previously stated that "breaking a large poster does not make the reality of sexist violence disappear." It added that "acts like this only lead us to continue fighting even harder, if possible, against this social scourge."
