
Two Injured in Violent Stabbing Incident in Adeje, Tenerife
Two men were injured, one seriously with a stab wound, following a violent altercation in Adeje, Tenerife, on Thursday night.
Public safety in southern Tenerife is back under scrutiny following a violent fight in Adeje on Thursday night. According to the 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center, two men were injured in the incident, with one remaining in serious condition.
Emergency teams were called to the scene shortly after 10:00 p.m. Medical staff treated a 44-year-old man for minor bruising, while a 30-year-old man was rushed to the Hospital del Sur with a stab wound.
The Civil Guard is leading the investigation to determine what happened and to identify the attacker. Officers from the Canary Islands Police and local police also assisted at the scene to secure the area and support the investigation. The incident has prompted calls for local authorities to review security measures in busy tourist areas, where maintaining public order during nightlife hours remains a significant challenge.
