Two Injured in Vilaflor Motorcycle Crash, One Seriously
Two individuals were injured, one seriously, after falling from a motorcycle on the TF-21 road in Vilaflor, prompting an emergency response and ongoing investigation by the Guardia Civil.
Two people were hurt on Friday when they fell off a motorcycle on the TF-21 road, near kilometer 66 in Vilaflor.
The emergency services received a call about the incident at 1:50 PM and immediately sent out help.
Paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Medical Service (SUC) treated the driver, a 28-year-old man, and his passenger, a 25-year-old woman. The woman was seriously injured, so a medical helicopter took her to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital. The man was taken by ambulance to Hospiten Sur University Hospital with moderate injuries.
The woman sustained a severe head injury, and the man had bruises in several places.
The Guardia Civil is investigating the accident.
