Road safety on Tenerife’s secondary roads is once again under scrutiny following a collision on the TF-217 in Santa Úrsula this Tuesday. According to the Canary Islands’ emergency services (CECOES 1-1-2), a crash between a car and a motorcycle left two women hospitalized, highlighting the risks faced by motorcyclists on conventional roads, particularly at intersections.

The accident occurred shortly after 9:20 p.m. The 45-year-old motorcyclist sustained a moderate leg injury, while the 38-year-old driver of the car was treated for moderate anxiety. Both were stabilized at the scene by medical teams from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and the La Victoria health center before being transported to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
