Two Arrested for Stolen Car in Playa de las Américas

Police in Playa de las Américas have arrested two men, aged 29 and 32, from El Fraile, for having a stolen car.

Officers made the arrest after becoming suspicious of a car with two people inside during a checkpoint in the El Fraile area.

After checking the car, they confirmed it was stolen. A car rental company had reported it missing because it was never returned.

The men admitted the car wasn't theirs, so officers arrested them for possessing a stolen vehicle.

The Civil Guard stated that the car was seized and returned to the rental company.

Both men have previous police records for similar crimes. They have been handed over to the court to face charges.
