In La Laguna, a large-scale road repair has begun on three streets, including the renovation of asphalt, sidewalks, and infrastructure, with possible road closures.

Road repairs will be carried out on three streets in La Laguna this week. Local authorities plan to renew the asphalt and improve things a bit. This is part of a larger plan to improve traffic in six districts of the city.

Ángel Chinea, who is in charge of these works, says that they are not only patching potholes on the roads, but also solving problems with sidewalks, benches, and even underground pipes. All this is being done to make it more convenient for residents.

The first street to be repaired was Volcán Etna Street in the Las Chumberas district. If the weather permits, everything will be done in three days.

Then they will take on Los Huaracheros Street near Camino La Rúa (from September 24) and Mateo Galván Rojas Street (El Bronco-Lomo Largo) from September 25. Each street will take approximately two days.

The City Council has already warned residents and shops about road closures, detours, and where parking will be prohibited.
