Tenerife’s public transport operator, Titsa, is implementing a reinforced service plan featuring dedicated shuttles and adjusted routes to manage increased passenger demand during this Sunday’s Tegueste Pilgrimage.

Tenerife’s public transport operator, Titsa, is launching a major service plan for the Tegueste Pilgrimage this Sunday, April 26. To handle the expected surge in visitors, the company is adjusting its regular schedules and adding extra capacity.

The centerpiece of the operation is the 052 shuttle, which will run continuously between the La Laguna Interchange and Tegueste from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Using the Vía de Ronda to speed up travel, the shuttle will pick up passengers near the La Laguna tram platform. Key stops include the San Benito roundabout, Portezuelo, Socorro, and the Las Toscas roundabout. The return route will follow the same path, departing from a designated event stop.

Titsa is also boosting its main 014 and 015 routes, which connect the Santa Cruz and La Laguna interchanges, to accommodate the increased demand. Additionally, lines 050, 051, and 057 will see adjustments. Notably, line 057 will bypass the center of Pedro Álvarez from 10:00 a.m. until the end of the festivities to help manage traffic in crowded areas.

These reinforcements aim to encourage the use of public transport, reducing traffic congestion and parking issues in the town center. Passengers can find full schedule details on the Titsa website, via their social media channels, or by calling customer service at 922.53.13.00.
