Tito’s Teatro in Puerto de la Cruz will host "La Noche Imprudente," an interactive, unscripted performance by Imprudentes Teatro, on April 18 at 8:45 p.m.

Puerto de la Cruz is set for an evening of spontaneous theater as Tito’s Teatro unveils its latest schedule. On Saturday, April 18, at 8:45 p.m., the venue will host "La Noche Imprudente" ("The Reckless Night"), an interactive performance where the audience takes center stage.

The 90-minute show features no script. Instead, actresses Irene Álvarez and Guacimara Gil create scenes on the spot based entirely on suggestions from the crowd. This style of instant creation is the signature of Imprudentes Teatro, a Canary Islands-based company that has gained national recognition through appearances at major festivals like Mueca, Máscara, and the specialized improv gathering in Zaragoza.

Beyond performing, the group is dedicated to growing the improv scene in the Canary Islands. Since 2022, they have organized the Canarias Improvisa International Improv Theater Festival and run ongoing training workshops in La Laguna. These classes teach students how to improve their reaction time, focus, and mental agility—all essential skills for mastering the unpredictability of live improv.

Tickets for the show are 15 euros and can be purchased through the theater’s website or at Casa Ábaco, La Cla Terraza, and Bar Parada. This event is a fresh addition to the local arts scene, offering a unique, one-of-a-kind experience that can never be repeated.
