Three Injured in Two-Car Collision on Tenerife’s TF-373
Three people sustained moderate injuries following a two-car collision on Tenerife’s TF-373 road in Garachico on Tuesday afternoon.
Road safety on Tenerife’s secondary roads is back in the spotlight following a crash on the TF-373 in Garachico this Tuesday. Emergency services reported that two cars collided shortly before 2:00 p.m. at kilometer 10, leaving three people injured and requiring a significant emergency response.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated a 67-year-old woman and two men, aged 50 and 22, all of whom suffered moderate injuries. The woman was taken to the Hospital del Norte in a medicalized ambulance, while the two men were transported to the same hospital in basic life support vehicles to be treated for contusions and trauma.
This incident highlights the ongoing risks on the island’s conventional roads, where challenging terrain and heavy traffic require constant driver vigilance. Following the crash, the 112 emergency service coordinated the response, with the Civil Guard securing the scene to investigate the cause. Road maintenance crews also worked to clear debris and ensure the area was safe for traffic to resume.
