
Three Hospitalized Following Serious Two-Vehicle Crash in Tenerife
Three people were hospitalized, one in serious condition, following a two-vehicle collision on the TF-47 in Guía de Isora, Tenerife, on Sunday morning.
Road safety on secondary roads in southern Tenerife is under scrutiny again following a serious crash in Guía de Isora this Sunday. According to the 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordination Center, a collision between two vehicles on the TF-47 left three people hospitalized. One person remains in serious condition with a traumatic brain injury.
The accident occurred early Sunday morning, around 6:52 a.m., and required a complex rescue operation. Several people were trapped in their vehicles, forcing fire crews to cut them free. After being stabilized by Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) medics, all three victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
This incident highlights the dangers of high-traffic secondary roads like the TF-47, which connect busy coastal areas. The Civil Guard is currently investigating the cause of the crash and managed traffic in the area while crews cleared debris from the road.
