
Tenerife is launching the second season of free classical music concerts for young people.
The University of La Laguna, the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, and the DISA Foundation present "A fULL with the Symphony Orchestra," a series of free classical music concerts for young people, from November 2024 to April 2026.
The University of La Laguna (ULL), together with the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the DISA Foundation, are launching the project "A fULL with the Symphony Orchestra" again. This is a series of classical music concerts specially designed for young people.
The second season will run from November this year to April 2026 in the ULL Assembly Hall. This was announced by Rector Francisco J. García, Councillor for Culture José Carlos Acha, and Director of the DISA Foundation Sara Mateos.
All three concerts will be free for university students. For other viewers, the ticket will cost 9 euros.
So, what awaits us?
- November 26 (20:00): Sara Socas, composer, singer, and rapper from Tenerife, will present the first concert. Nuno Coelho will conduct. The program includes music by Richard Strauss and Robert Schumann.
- February 26: Mario Marzo and Nacho Castellanos will hold the second concert under the direction of Pablo González. We will hear works by Rosa García Ascot and Richard Strauss.
- April 16: Miguel Ángel Cajigal will present the final concert. Ariane Matiakh will conduct. The program includes music by Oscar Colomina i Bosch, Franz Liszt, and Zoltán Kodály.
