As reported by the Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordinating Center, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the El Fraile area, in the municipality of Arona.
The 1-1-2 emergency service received a call about a man with a stab wound on Tenerife Street.
Two ambulances, the Civil Guard from Playa de las Américas, and the local police of Arona arrived at the scene.
Paramedics determined that the young man had a serious stab wound to the chest.
The injured man was urgently taken to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
