La Orotava Quiz: Win a night in a hotel for your knowledge of the city's history
A virtual quiz about the local heritage is taking place in La Orotava with the chance to win a night at the Parador hotel in the Teide National Park.
For the fourth year in a row, a virtual quiz is taking place where you can test your knowledge of your homeland and learn more about our city. The previous three games were a huge success, with over 1,600 people participating!
The Municipality of La Orotava, together with the Department of Cultural Heritage and with the participation of Delia Escobar, are launching this virtual game again. The questions will be about the nature, ethnography, documents, art, traditions, archeology and prominent figures of our city. All those who participate in the "Heritage Quiz" by October 15 will have the chance to win a night at the Parador del Parque Nacional del Teide hotel with full board.
The game is available at: https://patrimonio-laorotava.routingtales.com. It's as simple as a regular quiz. Each topic has its own color and consists of four questions where you need to choose one correct answer. There is a limited time to answer, and after completion, you can view the correct answers and try again. The main goal is for everyone to learn more about La Orotava and have the opportunity to win a prize.
Thanks to this game, in an interesting and entertaining way, residents and visitors of the city will be able to discover many interesting facts and treasures that they may not even have known about. This is a great way to get acquainted with the culture, heritage and history of our city.
Those who complete the game and collect all the "cheeses" from each topic will participate in the drawing of a night at the Parador del Parque Nacional del Teide hotel with breakfast and lunch or dinner, as in previous years. The winner will be selected using the email addresses you provided during registration and notified by email. Before starting the game, we advise you to read the rules of the draw.
This initiative is part of the program to promote the heritage of La Orotava, which is very diverse and covers not only historical monuments, but also other aspects that are reflected in the quiz questions.
"We are trying to make getting acquainted with heritage interesting, interactive, fun and accessible to the whole family, so that every resident can join," emphasizes Delia Escobar.
