It has become more convenient to get tested in La Laguna: a new point in La Cuesta will receive twice as many patients.
In La Laguna, residents of Finca España will be able to get tested at the La Cuesta medical center, which will double the number of appointments available.

Residents of the Finca España area no longer have to travel all the way to San Benito to get tested. Now they can do it at the La Cuesta medical center.
The local authorities of La Laguna are very pleased with this innovation from the Canary Islands Health Service. Thanks to this, La Cuesta will be able to receive twice as many people for tests – from 80 to 160 every day! This means less waiting in line.
All this became possible thanks to the joint work of the health service and the La Laguna City Hall.
Jesús Delgado, chief physician of primary care in Tenerife, says that they are trying to make medicine more convenient for people, so that they do not have to travel far and that medical centers use all opportunities.
And Domingo Galván, who is responsible for health care in the City Hall, added that this decision is a response to the requests of local residents.
