Coalition failure: PSOE criticizes the government in Puerto de la Cruz
The socialists in Puerto de la Cruz criticize the current government for unfulfilled promises and populism, accusing it of disappointing the residents.
A year ago, the government in Puerto de la Cruz changed. At that time, the PP, ACP, and CC parties expressed their distrust of the previous government. And yesterday, the PSOE party stated that the current leadership is a complete failure and an "unnatural" alliance.
"The people of Puerto de la Cruz are disappointed again because none of the government's громкие promises have become a reality," said socialist spokesman Marco González. He cited examples: the old bus station, which has not even begun to be dismantled, and the Plaza de la Vera, which is already seriously behind schedule.
González added that Mayor Leopoldo Afonso "is once again using the same demagoguery and populism as his predecessors from the right-wing party. This only disappoints people with false hopes." He emphasized that the socialists have submitted more than 20 proposals this year because they are "dedicated to working and caring for the residents."
