The renowned Tenerife poet, José Manuel Fernández Febles, author of 36 collections of poems, two of which will be published posthumously, has died at the age of 92.

The renowned poet from Tenerife, José Manuel Fernández Febles, has passed away at the age of 92. He was born in the town of La Orotava in 1934.

Throughout his life, the writer created 36 collections of poems. Interestingly, two of them have not yet been published. The publishing house Escritura entre las Nubes plans to release the author's latest works, titled "Desiderata" and "En la soledad". It is said that this was a personal request from José Manuel himself.

The editor of his works, Elena Morales, says that the poet wrote until his last days, even during sleepless nights. His poems are a deep and wise look at life, where suffering is inevitable, and the only salvation is in the word.

José Manuel Fernández Febles received many awards for his literary work. His poems have been included in various collections, including "Poetas Uni-verso", "Grupo los veinte", "Experimento Poético" and "Verbo Azul".

Today, Friday, at 10:40 a.m., a farewell to the poet will take place at the Servisa funeral home in Tenerife.
