The People's Party of Tenerife plans to "win" the 2027 elections after adding 180 members.
The People's Party of Tenerife, after adding 180 new members, has announced its intention to win the 2027 elections.
The People's Party of Tenerife has gained 180 new members in the past year. To mark the occasion, the party held a meeting with leaders, where it declared its intention to "win the next elections," according to the party leader on the island, Lope Afonso.
The event took place at the hotel school in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and lasted two days, on Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th.
The People's Party is actively attracting new supporters. Representatives from all corners of the island gathered during the meeting. Afonso emphasized that these people "are distinguished by moderation and common sense, which are the key to successful politics."
Lope Afonso emphasized that the People's Party has a "winning spirit" and aspires to power both in Spain and in the Canary Islands, especially in Tenerife. He mentioned the mayoralties in the municipalities of Arona, Santiago del Teide, Puerto de la Cruz, Los Realejos, Güímar, and expressed hope that Arico would soon be added to this list. Thanks to this, he said, the party will be able to "serve the citizens and win their trust through real and serious politics."
Afonso emphasized the party's determination to approach the next elections in 2027 with a "thirst for victory." "We are not just a political project, we serve the people by working on a serious and carefully thought-out plan. We can truly change society for the better through transparency, common sense, and useful policies," he emphasized. The party leader assured that the People's Party is determined to "win, win, and win."
On Friday, September 26, a meeting was held with new members and supporters who had joined the party during the year. Lope Afonso welcomed the 180 new members, noting that this is "a sign of trust and gratitude to all those who have decided to join a political project that counts on their support to improve and transform Tenerife."
