The Municipality of La Laguna will begin improvement and resurfacing works on Emilio Gutiérrez Salazar Street to ensure traffic safety for five days. Changes in bus routes will be announced, and car traffic will be regulated by portable traffic lights.

The municipality of La Laguna plans to carry out improvement and resurfacing works on Emilio Gutiérrez Salazar Street. This street is one of the busiest in the town of La Verdellada. The works will last approximately five days, including day and night shifts, to ensure that the new surface is safe for traffic.

First, Teidagua staff will check the condition of the sewer and drain covers, and update any equipment that needs repair. Then, work will begin to remove the old asphalt, correct any defects in the road, and apply the new surface.

The works will be carried out in two sections: first, between Vicente Boërgo and Arturo Vergara Rodríguez streets, and then on the section between the CEIP La Verdellada and the Diocesan Seminary of Tenerife. The municipality asks residents of the area to be understanding and cooperate with the workers, following all instructions and signage.

Changes to the routes of the Tenerife Intercity Public Transport (Titsa) buses will be announced at the bus stops. During these five days, some parking areas will be unavailable, and traffic will be regulated by portable traffic lights, especially in difficult areas.

This project corresponds to the annual resurfacing plan of the municipality of La Laguna for this year, when road traffic is lower and educational institutions remain closed.
