The taxi association La Gremial has opposed Nogal Studios' idea of making taxi drivers "employees" at the port, arguing that it worsens working conditions and reduces the number of orders.

The taxi association La Gremial does not support Nogal Studios' idea to make taxi drivers "employees" at the port. Nogal Studios currently manages the taxi service at the port.

The president of La Gremial, Zebenzuí Pérez, says that he does not understand why a private company still manages taxi drivers at the port. Previously, the port administration hired Nogal to solve problems between the taxi drivers themselves and to improve passenger service.

He also noted: "Taxi drivers were once removed from coordination, and now they are being involved in the same work again, but it is only getting worse." Pérez believes that Nogal has enough money to improve the service. He added that the idea of "taxi driver employees" only makes the situation worse, because fewer and fewer taxis are assigned to each cruise, and there is almost no work.
