The Canary Islands are preparing for a jubilee gospel festival with star choirs.

In 2025, the Canary Islands will host the gospel festival for the twentieth time! Incredible concerts await you:

• Charleston Gospel Choir: December 5, 6 and 7 at the Leal Theater in La Laguna.
• South Carolina Gospel Choir: December 13 at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium.

Tickets are already available on the theaters' websites and at the box office. The festival is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands.

What makes these choirs special?

The Charleston Gospel Choir is not just singing, it's an explosion of emotions! Their "Gospel & Rhythm" program can ignite the heart of every listener. They draw inspiration from the black churches of South Carolina, where gospel is a way of life.

And the South Carolina Gospel Choir, led by Michael Brown, has prepared a special surprise – a Michael Jackson memorial concert! You will hear gospel versions of his hits, such as "Keep The Faith", as well as soul classics. The "Michael Jackson Happy Days" show is a unique opportunity to remember the legend of pop music.

What else is interesting?

Traditionally, the festival will begin with the Canarias Gospel Summit, which will be held from October 16 to 19 in the municipality of Candelaria. This is the sixth summit organized by the Canary Gospel School.

The program includes:

• Bass guitar master class by Charlie Moreno (October 16).
• Electric guitar master class by Sergio Cebrián (October 17).
• Gospel master class for adults by Leonard Berks (October 17 and 19).
• Master class for children by Lola López.

Also, on October 18 at 8:00 p.m. the Canarias Gospel Choir will perform at the Cine Viejo de Candelaria (tickets at www.tickety.es). And don't miss the final performance of the master class participants on October 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the square of the Punta Larga shopping center.
