TF-5 Van Collision Blocks Lane, Causes North Tenerife Traffic
A collision involving two vans on the TF-5 near Tacoronte has blocked a lane and caused significant traffic delays on the North Tenerife highway this morning.
It feels like Groundhog Day on the North Tenerife highway, with yet another morning starting with long queues due to an incident. Two vans collided on the TF-5, near Tacoronte, on the Santa Cruz-bound carriageway. This has left drivers from the north of the island stuck in heavy traffic.
The accident has blocked one of the two lanes, and emergency services are on site to manage traffic. The condition of the people in the two vans is not yet known.
Authorities are asking all drivers passing through the area to respect traffic signs and drive carefully in both directions, to prevent any more accidents.
