Tenerife hosts a vibrant weekend of cultural and sporting events, ranging from the Mueca street art festival and "La Laguna es Cómic" to a Craig David concert and a high-profile football match between Costa Adeje and FC Barcelona.

Tenerife’s cultural and leisure scene is more diverse than ever this weekend, highlighting a growing trend of collaboration between local authorities and private organizers. These efforts to bring events to different parts of the island are not only providing entertainment but are also boosting the local service economy.

For film lovers, TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes will screen Enzo this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. This posthumous drama by Laurent Cantet, finished by Robin Campillo, was featured at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and explores themes of personal growth and class. Meanwhile, Santa Cruz continues its May Festivals, featuring a mix of neighborhood celebrations, local food, and music, including bolero recitals and the Tajaraste festival.

In the north and metropolitan areas, there is plenty to see. La Laguna is hosting the third edition of "La Laguna es Cómic," an international festival celebrating Asian culture and comics, with events ranging from author meet-and-greets to K-pop and cosplay competitions. In Puerto de la Cruz, the Mueca International Street Art Festival is in full swing, offering 28 performances across 14 locations this Saturday, showcasing a blend of circus, dance, and theater.

Major musical acts are also on the agenda, with British artist Craig David performing at the Palmetum in Santa Cruz this Saturday as part of the R&B Nation series. Finally, the weekend wraps up with a major sporting event at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium, where Costa Adeje faces FC Barcelona this Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
