Tenerife Unveils 'Ice PIT' Family Entertainment Hub
The Tenerife Exhibition Center will host "Ice PIT," a new family leisure event featuring an ice rink, bouncy castles, and various activities, opening this Friday with tickets starting from 7 euros.
Manuel Fernández, Vice President of the Exhibition Center, announced a new family event called 'Ice PIT'. He said this initiative is becoming a complete leisure and entertainment option for the whole family.
The PIT will take over the entire Tenerife Exhibition Center, using both floors and the terrace, covering more than 18,000 square meters. Over 250 people are involved in organizing the event.
According to the Cabildo, PIT 2025 is shaping up to be a diverse space. Children and young people, along with their families, can look forward to fun, educational, and sports activities and attractions.
The program includes bouncy castles, sports zones, creative workshops, interactive tech areas, and live shows. Qualified staff will supervise everything to ensure the safety of all visitors.
A highlight is the ice rink, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Visitors can use it to try ice skating for the first time or improve their skills. The rink will have all the necessary equipment and expert instructors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
The event opens this Friday at 3:00 PM. Regular operating hours will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Special hours apply on certain dates:
- December 24 and 31: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- December 25 and January 1: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- January 5: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
General admission costs 10 euros. However, on 'Ice Day' this Friday, tickets are 7 euros. Large families will pay 5 euros. Entry is free for children under 3, seniors over 65, and people with disabilities.
