A 50-year-old man was moderately injured after his tractor fell into a gully in Tenerife's San Miguel de Abona, requiring hospitalization.

A tractor accident in Tenerife on Friday morning left one person moderately injured after the vehicle fell into a gully. The incident happened in the Lomo La Hoya area of San Miguel de Abona.

Emergency services were alerted around 11:18 AM. The tractor driver, a 50-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries, which the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) initially assessed as having no apparent complications.

SUC paramedics treated the injured man at the scene before he was taken by a medicalized ambulance to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital for specialized care.

Local Police from San Miguel de Abona handled the official proceedings, while the Civil Guard assisted with traffic control and secured the area. The incident caused some caution on the road during the emergency response, but no further injuries or additional damage were reported.
