Tenerife to Host International Women’s Basketball Tournament Ahead of 2026 World Cup

Tenerife is set to become the heart of national women’s basketball once again this summer, further establishing the island as a premier destination for elite sports. The Spanish Basketball Federation and the local government have announced that the Santiago Martín Pavilion in La Laguna will host an international preparation tournament from August 21 to 23. This event will serve as a key warm-up for Miguel Méndez’s team as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup in Berlin.
