The Tenerife Science and Technology Park achieved full occupancy across its 60 spaces, solidifying its role as a key innovation hub and boosting the island's tech sector through educational initiatives, entrepreneurship support, and international business attraction.

The Tenerife Science and Technology Park (PCTT) had a very successful year, firmly establishing itself as a key hub for knowledge, innovation, and new businesses on the island. All 60 spaces across its various locations are now full, showing the strong growth of Tenerife's tech sector and the increasing interest from innovative companies wanting to set up here.

This full occupancy shows the Park's success in attracting and keeping talented people, boosting the economy in new ways, and encouraging teamwork between companies, institutions, and research centers. It positions Tenerife as a competitive place for developing high-value technology businesses.

Throughout the year, the Tenerife Science and Technology Park was very active in promoting educational innovation and encouraging young people to pursue careers in science and technology. Key initiatives included FIRST LEGO League Canarias and STEAM Future. These two leading educational projects each attracted over a thousand participants.

These initiatives introduced science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) to children and young people of all ages. They helped develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills, directly preparing young people for the jobs of tomorrow.

Supporting new businesses was another main focus for the PCTT this year. Working with the INCYDE Foundation and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), the Park ran several training and support programs. These programs helped people start and grow innovative businesses.

A total of 10 entrepreneurship courses were held (6 by the INCYDE Foundation and 4 through the EOI's CARE program), with around 176 participants. These courses covered important topics like digitalization, artificial intelligence, and developing business models.

The 13th Investment Preparation Program also took place, involving 32 business ideas. Twelve of these were chosen to present at the Investment Forum, which helped boost the island's network of entrepreneurs and innovators.

The CEDEI program, which aims to develop skilled tech talent to meet the needs of Tenerife's companies, ended the year with 13 new agreements between public and private sectors.

The year finished with HUB INTECH Tenerife, the island's biggest tech innovation event. It brought together 36 top global tech manufacturers and almost 300 Canarian companies, serving as a crucial meeting point for industry, businesses, professionals, and innovators.

HUB INTECH Tenerife proved itself to be a real ideas lab and a showcase for innovation in the Canary Islands. It encouraged sharing knowledge, creating new partnerships, and showcasing advanced tech solutions.

To attract more companies to the island, PCTT also undertook various business and strategic initiatives, including trade missions to promote the Park and its ecosystem. During the year, the PCTT hosted over 80 trade missions from local, regional, and international groups. These included attending major events in key sectors, as well as hosting meetings and visits from Japanese video game companies, Latin American firms, and Italian businesses. Many others also showed interest in the ecosystem and the potential for running their global operations from Tenerife.

Looking back at these achievements, the Tenerife Science and Technology Park confirms its role as a key driver of business innovation. It is now set to continue launching new projects, growing its capabilities, and strengthening the island's innovation ecosystem in the years ahead.
