Tenerife Symphony Performs Annual Charity Concert at Candelaria Hospital
The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra performed its annual charity concert for patients, staff, and visitors at the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital on Thursday, featuring works by Dvorák, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky.
Patients, staff, and visitors at the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital (Hunsc), a facility under the Canary Islands' Ministry of Health, enjoyed the annual charity concert by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra this Thursday. The audience applauded the performance, which was conducted by Ángel Camacho.
The concert featured music by great composers like Antonín Dvorák and Johannes Brahms, as well as Benito Cabrera's song "Soy de aquí." It concluded with Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky's "Waltz of the Flowers" from the ballet "The Nutcracker." The hospital management thanked the orchestra for making this concert an annual event in their schedule.
The orchestra will perform again this Friday. This time, the concert will be in the hall of the Ambulatory Activities Building at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC).
