The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra is back at the University of La Laguna (ULL) Auditorium this school year with a new series called "A fULL con la Sinfónica." This three-concert program aims to introduce classical music to younger audiences, featuring hosts who connect with them.
The first concert is tonight, Thursday, at 8:00 PM. It will be hosted by Tenerife rapper, singer, and composer Sara Socas, with Bruno Coelho as the guest conductor.
The program features two works: Richard Strauss's symphonic poem Macbeth, Op. 23, TrV 163, and Robert Schumann's Symphony No. 4 in D minor, Op. 120. ULL students can attend for free, though a reservation is required. For the general public, tickets cost nine euros.
Nuno Coelho is the principal and artistic director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Principality of Asturias. He has also conducted many other renowned ensembles, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic, and the Spanish National Orchestra.
