Tenerife's Victoria Theater Hosts Contemporary Dance Performances This Weekend

The Victoria Theater in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is showcasing two contemporary dance performances this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, at 7:30 p.m.: "El llamado de las brasas" and "Somos."

"El llamado de las brasas" is the first full-length solo performance by queer artist Charles-Alexis Desgagnés. It's set in a space where the walls seem to constantly change, and the choreographer and performer dramatically transforms himself, revealing layer after layer on stage.

"Somos," created by the Catalan company Lo siento mucho, explores the connection between two people and their individual journeys. It's a conversation through dance that shares a personal and heartfelt message.
