Tenerife’s Titsa Transport Network Shifts to Winter Schedule on September 7

Tenerife’s public transport network, Titsa, is switching to its winter schedule starting Monday, September 7. This change marks the end of the summer timetable and is designed to handle the increased demand as students return to school and workers head back to the office after the holidays.

The update focuses on moving resources to high-traffic areas. The Cabildo of Tenerife is prioritizing the Guajara Campus by bringing back four shuttle services: 605, 606, 608, and 611. These routes were highly popular last year, carrying over 43,200 passengers. Island President Rosa Dávila noted that these direct services are essential for managing daily traffic and encouraging people to use public transport instead of private cars.

As part of the restructuring, seasonal beach routes—such as lines 546 and 948—will stop running. Meanwhile, metropolitan, northern, and southern routes are returning to their regular schedules. Key changes include the return of lines 138 and 139 to Radazul and Tabaiba, as well as the restoration of connections from Tacoronte to Mesa del Mar (021) and El Pris (023). In the north, line 224 will return to its standard route, bypassing the El Boquerón detour, and services 376 and 380 will also return to normal.

Mobility Minister Eulalia García explained that the transport network must remain flexible to meet the public's changing needs. In total, a dozen other routes are being adjusted, including the 014, 050, 052, 055, 363, 369, 392, 421, 910, 934, 936, and 946, alongside various school-related services.
