Tenerife’s public transport operator, Titsa, is increasing bus services across eleven routes on the night of June 23–24 to provide safe travel for residents attending San Juan bonfire celebrations.

Tenerife’s public transport operator, Titsa, is launching a special service for the night of June 23–24 to help people travel safely to the San Juan bonfires. By increasing bus services, the company aims to reduce traffic congestion and encourage people to leave their cars at home during one of the island’s busiest nights.

The extra service covers eleven routes, focusing on popular coastal areas like Las Teresitas, Radazul, Puerto de la Cruz, and El Médano.

Key service updates include:

  • Las Teresitas (Line 910): Extra trips to the beach at 10:15 p.m., 10:45 p.m., and 11:15 p.m., with return buses at 10:45 p.m., 11:15 p.m., and 11:45 p.m.
  • Santa Cruz to San Andrés (Line 970): Buses will run every 15 minutes from 11:45 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (outbound) and from 12:15 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. (return).
  • Radazul (Line 138): Return trips to the capital are scheduled for 10:40 p.m., 11:40 p.m., 1:00 a.m., and 2:00 a.m.
  • Santa Cruz to Puerto de la Cruz (Line 102): Extra departures from the capital at 1:00 a.m., 2:10 a.m., 3:15 a.m., and 4:35 a.m., with return trips from Puerto de la Cruz at 2:10 a.m. and 3:25 a.m.

In total, seven other strategic routes will also receive additional support. Titsa encourages passengers to plan their journeys in advance by checking schedules, stops, and seat availability on their website, social media channels, or by calling their customer service line.
