Tenerife's Makika&Co Named One of Spain's Best Coffee Shops

You can start your day at Makika&Co with breakfast, served until 1:00 PM. For lunch, they offer a selection of two salads, three starters, and three main courses. These dishes are perfect for anyone looking for a light, homemade meal that still feels special.

All day long, the kitchen keeps its French spirit alive with a wide range of handmade pastries and baked goods. They also serve rustic bread filled with cheese, various quiches, and different kinds of sandwiches, including classic ham and cheese. You can even customize your order by adding extra ingredients for a small charge.

Makika&Co also delivers breakfast to your home, with three different menus priced between 20 and 25 euros. This service is only available on the island of Tenerife. For celebrations, you can order custom handmade cakes, but remember to place your order 48 hours in advance and pick them up directly from the cafe.

During Christmas, be sure to try their delicious roscones (a traditional sweet bread). Plus, throughout the year, anyone interested can sign up for the workshops they host.

While French pastries are Makika&Co's most famous items, they're not the only things customers love. One of the most popular orders is their "La Canaria" toast, which celebrates the local ingredients and traditional tastes of the Canary Islands.

This special toast is made on sourdough bread and features Teror chorizo, Canarian smoked cheese, a hint of La Palma guarapo (palm syrup), and a light dusting of gofio (toasted grain flour). It's a true tribute to the island's unique food culture.
