Tenerife's El Barco de Papel Launches Editorial B de Papel

The team behind El Barco de Papel bookstore in El Sauzal, Tenerife, is launching a new publishing house called Editorial B de papel. This new venture aims to publish all kinds of books and give writers real opportunities, with a special focus on literary talent from the Canary Islands.

Editorial B de papel aims to be an open, diverse, and culturally engaged platform. Its goal is to connect new authors with readers, supporting fresh voices and stories that can reach audiences both on and off the islands.

"We want to create a friendly, supportive, and accessible publishing house," the founding team says. "A place where authors can find support and guidance right from their first manuscript."

Even though the publishing house is just starting out, it's already getting ready to accept manuscripts, and details will be shared soon. They plan to publish novels, poetry, essays, children's literature, and illustrated books, with a special focus on titles about Canarian identity and creativity.

With this new project, the El Barco de Papel team is deepening its commitment to local culture and continues its role as a hub for literature, community, and new ideas in publishing.

Editorial B de papel is a general publishing house founded in Tenerife in 2025 by the team from El Barco de Papel bookstore in El Sauzal. Its motto, “Sail seas of stories with a paper soul,” reflects its aim to explore diverse and human stories. Its mission is to support writers from all walks of life, promote diverse literature, and highlight Canarian talent.
