Tenerife’s food scene is becoming a major destination for international cuisine, with Japanese restaurants proving particularly popular with locals. Social media accounts like @guachinchesmodernos are playing a key role in this trend, helping diners discover high-quality, niche spots through honest reviews and recommendations.

One such restaurant catching the attention of food influencers is Nana Sushi, located at 14 Moreiba Street in Acorán, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. During a recent visit, the creators praised the technical skill behind dishes like the tuna tartare and various nigiri, specifically highlighting the seared salmon and the versions seasoned with kimchi and lime. The menu also features creative fusion dishes, such as quinoa gyoza with yuzu sauce and a crispy caramelized pork belly bao bun that stands out from more traditional versions. The experience is rounded out by options like the Rainbow roll and desserts including mochi and pistachio cheesecake.

With a 4.8-star rating on Google, Nana Sushi has clearly made an impression. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday for lunch (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM) and dinner (7:30 PM to 11:00 PM).
