Tenerife’s Espacio La Granja hosts ConCierto Paliqueo tonight at 7:00 p.m., an interactive event featuring performances and open dialogue between local artists and their audience.

The Canary Islands music scene is currently buzzing with creativity, moving beyond just performances to focus on connecting directly with audiences. Tonight at 7:00 p.m., Tenerife’s Espacio La Granja will host an event designed to demystify the artist through open dialogue and a more personal approach.

Titled ConCierto Paliqueo, the event is part of the Canary Islands month celebrations and aims to pull back the curtain on the musician’s craft. Hosted by Rubén Rodríguez and featuring the 101 Brass Band, the evening uses the theme of "silence" as a starting point. Bands Belice and Última Llave will not only perform their music but also share the stories and creative processes behind their work.

A key feature of the event is its interactive format. Attendees can use their mobile phones to send questions to the artists in real time, effectively breaking down the traditional barrier between the stage and the crowd. Organized by the regional government, the initiative is part of a broader effort to support the next generation of talent in the archipelago.

The lineup showcases two distinct musical styles from Gran Canaria. Belice blends electronic music with rock, highlighting synthetic sounds and percussion. In contrast, Última Llave, fronted by singer Beatriz Pérez, performs pop that bridges modern trends with classic Spanish influences. This mix of styles highlights the diversity of the local music scene and provides a valuable opportunity to explore how contemporary music is evolving across the islands.
