Tenerife's "Chicken Bar" Draws Crowds with Secret Sauce Recipe Since 1962

A popular online creator called Cocituber, who travels Spain looking for great places to eat, recently visited a well-known restaurant in Tenerife that's famous for its chicken. He enjoyed it so much that he told all his followers about it.
The restaurant, called Restaurante Oasis, is in Adeje and has been serving its famous chicken with a secret sauce since 1962. It's a dish that many people visiting the island make sure to try. Locals often call it "the chicken bar of Adeje."
While the menu isn't huge, it offers the essential dishes for enjoying traditional Canarian food at great prices.
At Restaurante Oasis, the focus is on simple, traditional flavors. Their star dish is fried chicken, made in a home-style way. You get three pieces for just 5 euros. This recipe has been the same since 1962 and is a must-try for anyone on the island.
To go with the chicken, you can order French fries for €2.75 or "papas arrugadas" (wrinkled potatoes) for €3.40. A salad is also available for €2.75. Don't forget the bread, plain or with garlic, for €1.25 to €1.50. It's perfect for mopping up the sauces, including the spicy red mojo, green mojo, and the special "mojo Oasis" made with the restaurant's own recipe.
For dessert, there's a selection of homemade cakes and pastries costing between 5 and 6 euros, a lovely way to end your meal.
After his meal, Cocituber highly recommended the restaurant to his followers. "Everyone told me I had to try it, and it's amazing," he said.
