Three individuals have been arrested in Tenerife for their involvement in a string of twelve restaurant burglaries in Los Cristianos.

Police have arrested three people in connection with twelve restaurant burglaries in Los Cristianos, a popular area in southern Tenerife.

The investigation started in mid-August after police noticed a rise in restaurant break-ins in a specific area. The burglaries all happened in the same way: the thieves would force open metal shutters and then crawl inside.

Detectives quickly identified one of the suspects as the main culprit, believing he was involved in every break-in. In two of the burglaries, he had help from another man who acted as a lookout.

Police also confirmed that a third person was involved in one of the robberies. This individual, who has a history of similar crimes, was identified.

After gathering enough evidence, police arrested all three suspects.

The National Police believe these arrests have solved the restaurant burglaries and demonstrate their commitment to keeping residents and tourists safe in Tenerife.
