Three people were arrested in Tenerife last Saturday, March 7, after a police chase ended in an accident with several injuries. This incident highlights the serious consequences of breaking traffic laws and ignoring police orders. Reports indicate the chase started in Arona and finished in Adeje, where the fleeing car crashed into another vehicle, causing it to flip over and create a dangerous scene.
The trouble began in Los Cristianos, Arona, when a car carrying three people failed to stop for the National Police. The vehicle then sped off towards Avenida de Los Pueblos in nearby Adeje, with police cars in pursuit. During the escape, the car crashed into another vehicle on that avenue. The impact caused the second car to overturn, and its occupants suffered various injuries.
Once the fleeing car was stopped after the crash, National Police officers arrested the three individuals. The detainees, who are foreign nationals, were taken to the police station. They are expected to appear before a judge soon, potentially facing charges for traffic safety offenses and resisting arrest.
