The Tenerife Peñón Fest is expanding its 2024 program with year-round satellite events, beginning with a June 20 performance by the local band Postcode at La Laguna’s Búho Club.

The Tenerife Peñón Fest is expanding its reach this year, moving beyond its main event dates to offer a wider range of activities across the island. Organizers say this new strategy aims to boost the local music scene and keep the festival spirit alive throughout the year.

The main festival is set for October 23 and 24 at the Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, but the satellite program kicks off early. On June 20 at 10:30 p.m., the Búho Club in La Laguna will host the live debut of Broadcast From Nowhere, the first album by the Canarian band Postcode. By featuring this group, the festival hopes to provide a platform for emerging local talent, helping alternative pop-rock artists gain exposure with island audiences.

Released in February, the album blends influences from contemporary pop, stadium rock, and folk-rock to create a unique sound. Tickets for the show are available now through the festival’s official website and the Tomaticket platform.

These additional events are designed to strengthen Tenerife’s cultural scene while highlighting the public-private partnership behind the festival. The Tenerife Peñón Fest is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, the Island Council of Tenerife, and the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, alongside various private sponsors. Through this expanded schedule, the festival aims to remain a consistent fixture on the island's cultural calendar.
