A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Güímar, Tenerife, in connection with a spree of 20 armed robberies, business break-ins, and vehicle thefts.

A 25-year-old man from Güímar, Tenerife, has been arrested following a string of 20 property crimes that had left the local community feeling increasingly unsafe. The Civil Guard confirmed the arrest, noting that the suspect was already known to police for similar offenses.

Investigators identified the man by spotting a clear pattern in the crimes reported. His activities fell into three categories: armed robberies, break-ins at businesses, and vehicle thefts.

During the day, the suspect would target shops, using a large knife to threaten staff and steal cash. At night, he used a screwdriver to break into parked cars and closed businesses, stealing everything from electronics and tools to documents and lottery tickets.

The investigation has now successfully linked the suspect to all 20 incidents. By bringing him to justice, police hope to restore a sense of security to the town and support local businesses that had been targeted by this crime spree.
