A lottery ticket sold in Santo Domingo, Tenerife, has won 48,209.92 euros after matching five numbers and the bonus ball in Wednesday’s Bonoloto draw.

The Canary Islands are celebrating another win after Wednesday’s Bonoloto draw on August 5, 2026. According to Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, a ticket sold in Santo Domingo, Tenerife, matched five of the six winning numbers plus the bonus ball, securing a second-category prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at the lottery outlet located at 27 8th of August Avenue (postal code 38440). The winner will take home 48,209.92 euros—a prize shared with two other winners in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz) and Coslada (Madrid). The winning combination was 2, 11, 15, 28, 37, and 40, with 16 as the bonus number and 5 as the refund number.

As no one matched all six numbers, the first-category jackpot remains unclaimed and will grow for the next draw. Total revenue for Wednesday’s draw reached 2,297,370.50 euros, with 1,263,553.78 euros set aside for prize payouts.

In addition to the three second-category winners, there were many smaller prizes: 78 tickets won 927.11 euros each, 4,114 tickets won 26.37 euros, and 77,667 tickets won four euros. Furthermore, 459,658 participants matched the refund number, allowing them to recoup the cost of their ticket.

The Bonoloto, a popular daily lottery that requires a minimum bet of one euro, allocates 55% of its revenue to prizes. It remains a staple for Loterías y Apuestas del Estado and, in this instance, has provided a welcome financial boost to the north of Tenerife.
